Tail - Golden pheasant crest feather

Ribbing - Oval gold tinsel

Body - Rear two-thirds, dubbed with gray lamb's wool; the front third, dubbed with claret lamb's wool 

Hackle - Dyed dark blue dun pheasant rump tied on as a collar and tied back with hackle tips extending to hook bend

Head - Red

Jim Nelson of Klamath, California, originated this pattern in 1952 and named it after C. E. "Big Henry" Sainsbury of Santa Monica, California. The first version of this fly used blue heron barbs for the rear portion of the body and hackle. Obviously this was a short-lived practice.
