Thread - Glo brite #3 fluorescent red floss
Tag - Flat gold tinsel and tying thread
Tail - Fluorescent red floss or multiple strands of glo brite #3 floss
Ribbing - Purple crystal chenille
Body - Fluorescent red floss or tying thread
Collar - Purple hen hackle
Wing - Purple calf tail and strands of purple krystal flash
There are various recipes for the steelhead fly.
My dyeing skills on the purple calf tail leaves a lot to be desired.
It just came out a lighter shade than I wanted.
