Hook - TMC 2487 or equivalent
Thread - Black
Hackle - Black tipped head feather from a Mearns quail
Bead - Olive glass or metal
Body - Micro cable #25, peacock
I did not have any Mearns quail so I substituted Guinea hen
Micro cables were produced by Doug's Bugs many years ago and are no longer to be found in fly tying world. I just twisted 1 strand of copper, green and red x-small ultra wire into a rope. Looks like peacock herl colors to me.
