Hook - Single salmon

Thread - Orange

Tail - Red hackle fibers

Body - Hot orange chenille

Hackle - Fluorescent orange

Wing - White bucktail

Author's Note

Clarence Shoff of Kent, Washington, originated this pattern. This fly has also proven itself as a good Pacific salmon fly. When tied for salmon it should have a longer wing than what is normally found on steelhead flies.
