Al French was created to fish for brook trout (speckled trout) in the lakes that are now part of the ZEC Saint-Patrice, in the Outaouais.

Thread - Black
Tail - Golden pheasant tippets
Body –
Yellow chenille
Throat - Orange hackle fibers
Wing – Mixed brown and orange deer hair or bucktail
