This pattern was created in the late 1960s by Alec Iles for fishing Chew Valley. It is especially for those times when the trout feed on fry. He adapted some North American patterns to produce this streamer. The pattern first appeared in John Veniard’s book Lake and Reservoir Flies, 1970.
