Tail - Amherst pheasant tippet barbs. 

Ribbing - Flat gold tinsel

Body - Pink floss

Hackle - Ginger tied on as a collar and tied back and down

Wings: Natural light gray duck quill sections tied on edge over the body

George M. LaBranche of New York City originated this pattern. LaBranche wrote The Dry Fly and Fast Water (1914). He was also one of the organizers of the Angler's Club of New York in 1905.
