Hook - Mustad 3906B. 9671 or equivalent

Thread - Brown

Tail - Scarlet red hackle barbs

Body - Black chenille

Hackle - Brown

Tying sequence - From the rear: chenille, hackle, chenille, hackle, chenille, hackle. 

There are three hackles tied into the body of this fly. One at the rear, then the chenille is wrapped to the center and tied off. Another hackle is wrapped in the center, and then the chenille is wrapped to the front where a third hackle is tied in.

This is really like a Woolly Worm (which see) except the hackle is not palmered but spotted at precise places on the shank.
