Thread - Black

Tail - Golden pheasant crest feather tied short

Butt - Yellow floss

Ribbing - Oval gold tinsel

Body - Dubbed with claret lamb's wool

Throat - Claret hackle tied on as a collar and tied back and down

Wing - Purple bucktail tied over the body and extending to end of tail

Cheeks - Black-and-white barred lemon wood duck section tied in at each side

Alexander Learmonth of Montreal, Canada, originated this pattern in 1931
